Job Duties:

    Fleet/Truck Stock

    • Update Service Titan with Trucks & Techs assigned
    • Manage truck inventory cycle counting process; including new truck inventory set up process and replenishment process
    • Ensure excess material found on trucks is returned
    • Manage the sign off process to technicians of truck, inventory and tools and enforce process of chargeback when applicable.
    • Ensure that we limit/eliminate technician downtime due to vehicle or inadequate stock
    • Manage the truck stocking/bin layout mapping
    • Update truck stock lists
    • Create and update fleet and tool processes

    Receiving

    • Review current or future trends that indicate possible gaps in inbound or outbound functions and make recommendations based on findings.
    • Ensure all inbounds products are received in a good clean manner with no damages, shorts or overages.
    • Conduct observations to identify areas for change; conduct analyzes to develop action plans to address operational and employee gaps.
    • Lead receiving team in goals and measurement to ensure team success.
    • Assist in reviewing the strategic goals of the inbound or outbound area and sets performance goals.
    • Communicate with the company carrier regarding inbound loads and returns when necessary.

    Warehouse/Safety

    • Manage warehouse staff daily to maximize efficiency to streamline operations
    • Ensures warehouse is neat & clean
    • Manage warehouse inventory process for a full count
    • Manage warehouse replenishment process
    • Manage warehouse inventory cycle counting process
    • Conduct monthly safety audit

    Leadership

    • Conduct daily status meetings with other warehouse leaders to review prior day’s performance and to develop an action plan for the current day
    • Oversee team schedules to ensure proper coverage for business needs; including regular schedules and on-call rotation.
    • Review and approve weekly time cards for all staff; approve time off requests.
    • Attend company meetings and trainings to promote growth and development
    • Participate in the interview and hiring process of department staff
    • Conduct new hire training for the department
    • Motivate and inspire team performance to win the day
    • Perform weekly 1:1’s with team members and provide feedback and see continuous improvement

What you need:

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical parts preferred
  • Basic knowledge of technology including Apple products
  • Valid and clean drivers license
